Celebrating the Pearson Girls

We made a trip to the city to celebrate Cordelia's baptism and Beatrix's 2nd birthday. What I realize is that it's incredibly difficult to manage capturing the party in addition to caring for two children. I'll get better, hopefully.

Ignatius was very happy to get dressed up. Well, maybe it was getting to put hair gel in his hair that made him so happy.

I never thought I would every capture a moment like this. This particular day I looked at Iggy before serving him lunch and thought to myself "today might be the day that he falls asleep while eating." I love how he still makes his yummy noise.

He was beyond excited Momma was able to take him, a newborn, and an rambunctious pup for this outing.

Growing up every day

While at the pediatrician with Maeve I got a text from Michael. He sent this picture and said Iggy had reached up onto the counter grabbed his pacifier, went into our drawer and took out a pen, went over climbed up on the chair and sat at the table to draw.  

It appears he was unhappy with this moment being captured. Or he's just looking through your soul. 

Seems familar

We have another child that likes to cross their feet while eating. 

Cozy kiddos

When Ignatius wakes up from his nap he has a routine. He insists on coming into our bedroom, hops up on bed, throws me the remote to turn on the Disney channel, and cuddles with Maeve. Seems like Maeve likes it.
