Those thighs

And boy oh boy does that hand like massive.

Bumbo part deux

"Geez Mom, do we have to do this again?"

He seemed quite captivated with his toy

And with one spin..."Say what?"

Done with the paci?

Who needs a binky when you have your hands?

Oh now we're trying to get both hands in there.

Someone is so pleased with himself, as you can tell by his transparent eyebrows.

The best snuggle buddy

It's like his skin is embedded with a sleeping pill, lay down next to him and you'll instantly drift off.

Iggy loves him some Reese

The look of adoration is heart-warming.

Reese could have pushed him all day.

It was her idea to get into the carseat.

I think she wants to know she's still her Mommy's baby.

She certainly loves to swing.

Thank God for Pinkie

The second he gets his hands on his poodle his eyes immediately begin to close.

The grip he had is too precious.

And like most nap times for Ignatius, after 10 minutes he's bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.

We call him the protecter

Here's Chauncey doing what he does best, protecting his baby brother. Too cute.

Bumbo time

"Dad, we need to have a talk..."

Iggy is ready to get his summertime fun on.

Errands

While waiting for Daddy and Grammie to come out of Casey's we decided to squeeze in a feeding. Little mister is licking his lips he's so ready.

"Huh"

Our guard dog

Since Ignatius's arrival Chauncey has stopped sleeping in our bed. He has gone into protection mode. Here he is guarding our bedroom.

Last night he slept underneath the co-sleeper Iggy is in. Such a sweet pup.

Liv and Chaunce go to the park

So much love between these two. Seriously, too cute.

May Boys

Emmett was kind enough to give Iggy a ride on his shoulders.

USA USA USA

Keep an eye on the boy in the grey shirt's reaction to USA scoring a goal in the World Cup. Thanks Michael for spotting that one.

Bye bye tree

It was time to say goodbye to our tree that was destroyed in the storm last week.

It was quite the process.

We're still not sure what to think of the "after"

Cleared for the pool

Our pediatrician said Iggy was able to go in the pool, needless to say we went running for the water.

He didn't seem to mind the water, a few kicks, some smiles and fell right asleep in my arms.

As you can see, happy as a clam.

Speaking of the pediatrician last week was our two month visit. Iggy came in at 12lbs 7oz (63rd percentile) and 24 1/2 inches (89th percentile). That makes 5 lbs and 4 1/2 inches since birth!

This boy loves music

We had lunch at Potbelly's and there was a guy playing the guitar. Iggy was very happy to kick back and listen to his little session.

Iggy and Reese?????

Auntie Megan was the one to make this connection. She said Iggy looks like Reese, but with blue eyes. Fascinating!

Storm of the century

Still asking how this happened?

Bye bye fence

Yesterday morning Ignatius and I were awakened with a loud crash and Michael telling us to get downstairs. Being that I was dreaming of twisters all night, I swooped him up and ran. We were quite lucky, the tree branch grazed the house hitting the chimney and gutter and taking out the fence. It could have been much worse. Thank God no one was hurt.

Someone finds their thumb

There was much delight at this discovery. I love the grunts at the end.

Lord of the ring

He loves to jam out

While I was working I got this picture texted to me from Michael. He wanted to have a drum session, but wanted to make sure his little ears were ok. He said Ignatius kept moving his legs to the beat. He labeled it his proudest moment as a father. I couldn't agree more, my heart grew when I saw the picture.

Who needs collagen...

with lips like these? And no, we did not put lip gloss on them, they just have a natural shine.

Two Months

Ignatius displaying his excitement when I told him he has a photo shoot when we get home

"What?!?! No clothes?!?!

I think he looks so much like Julian here

"Oh lady you're killing me here, can I just go to bed?"

"Hey there, how you doing? The name's Iggy Frank"

It's so crazy that it has been two months already with our sweet baby boy. It's seems to be flying by, but at the same time neither of us can remember what life was like without him. Everyone always talks of this overwhelming love you feel immediately and I knew I would have it, but I never thought it would be this intense. Tears weld up in my eyes at least once a day while staring at him. Michael constantly tells him, "Ignatius I want to consume you in pill form" and nothing is closer to the truth, absolutely delicious.
