Independent play
Ever since Maeve's arrival Ignatius has started independent play. It's so cute to hear him talking to himself and having such a great time.

I was aware that Ignatius loved babies, but I never suspected he would take such a liking to being a big brother.

Back to our routine
We were itching to get out of the house and take our nightly family walk.
Maeve is a great addition to our ritual. Iggy seems pleased as well.
Maeve's visit to the pediatrician
Last monday we had a visit to our doctor. I was anxious if I was feeding her enough because all she wants to do is eat, I questioned if my milk supply was adequate. Well Maeve's weight was 7 lbs 10 oz, back to birth weight and then some in less than one week. What a relief!
Now lets get home and eat some more.
It's a bat baby
Going through bins of clothing for Maeve, I came across a bat costume that Julian wore (when he was 9 months old mind you). It's a shame it's too small, he does make a cute bat.

One of my favorite parts of the day is at night, when I can snuggle with my little girl and enjoy her being awake and alert.
