When I told a patient we named our daughter Maeve, she said "Oh I've heard that name a lot recently, you know in that movie Hotel Transylvania, the girl Mavis." My first thought was well no, her name isn't Mavis, but then I found myself calling her Mavis a lot. We recently rented the movie and in it the father calls her Maevey Wavy, so Mavis truly suits her.
