Happy Birthday to my Dad
Today is my Dad's birthday. Such a special day because it honors such an amazing man. He truly is the heart and soul of the Mruz family. I have the privilege to work with him every day and I must say every day is a joy and blessing, there's always a smile on my face during my drive in knowing we get to spend the day together. I am the woman I am today because of his love and guidance and I don't know if I will ever be able to fully express my gratitude for that. I love you Dad.
Smiles
The best time of day for these pieces of heaven are in the morning. This picture was taken to send to Daddy who was downtown for jury duty. Yuck!

Check out that neck strength
Someone is very impressed with himself
Seriously!
"Hey Mom, look at me!"
"Umm I think I'm getting tired."
"I'm coming for you Momma."
"I need a nap first."
Vintage Baby
Mommy wanted Ignatius to model some outfits that Michael wore as an infant. The model was reluctant.
Starting to meltdown
And we're done
The twins come for a visit
Reese was very happy to hold Ignatius.
What a gentle and loving touch.
Julian was a little hesitant.
Ignatius starting to fuss = Holding session done
Julian getting impatient with the camera
Julian: "Did you get it yet?" Reese: "Mommy lets take him home."
Reese trying to ruin the perfect picture. Lots of hoots and hollers from the adults.
This is as good as it gets. I find it to be quite adorable.
The boy is passionate about elephants
Thinking about how he's going to change the world
Getting ready for choir practice
Oh those cheeks
Couldn't have shot the picture at a more perfect time
Father's Day celebration
The dude summer attire
Olivia was very sweet to Mr. Ignatius
On Father's Day w e hosted The Cronin clan at our house for a nice BBQ, most of the day was spent squashing mosquitos and dabbing the sweat from your brow. I do have to say I'm quite embarrassed by the lack of photographs. I had visions of pictures of Michael with Ignatius and Chauncey and the boy cousins. Unfortunately there were none of those. However it was a great day.
Happy Father's Day
I snuck out to go make some coffee for poppa and his 1st Father's Day leaving Iggy laying on the bed. This is the sight I came back to. So sweet, especially where Iggs is staring me down as I'm capturing the moment.

The boy with the pink poodle
Auntie Barb has a tradition of giving the babes a pink poodle, Uncle Bob had one when he was a young lad. Even though Iggy's face is saying "Seriously Mom, this picture better not get out," he loves his soft friend. Let it be known that Chauncey too loves pinkie. Oh the fun chasing him around to get it back.
All the activities
What's this?
Well you're an attractive fellow
Ignatius really enjoyed his play mat. There were lots of kicks and coos, followed by a 4 hour nap. Mommy loved the coos and the nap.
What a great gift
Chauncey goes to doggy daycare and our friends at Doggie Depot in Downers Grove gave us this onesie. Seriously does it get any cuter? The slight smile Iggy is cracking melts my heart.
Day at the pool
Becoming a hot, sweaty boy under that blankie
Where's the baby you ask?
Here I am!
We took Iggy to the pool this week. Boy oh boy did he love it. Plus Mommy and Daddy were thrilled to start working on their tans. We plan and making many visits. Iggy got lots of ohhs and ahhs.
