I'm training him well

In all honesty, he insisted on cleaning the toilet

School pictures

Too bad Iggy scratched Maeve's face (by her eye) the night before this was taken. Still adorable though.

Costumes

You would have no idea he had pneumonia by this picture.

She wanted nothing to do with her parrot costume

However she was more than thrilled to put her Halloween pjs on.

Who gets pneumonia the night before Halloween?

My poor baby, he had a cough for about three weeks. I just assumed since he was in daycare it was the nature of the beast. His cough was becoming more frequently, then the fever started. The poor guy looked at me, pointed to his throat, and said "it's broke".

He didn't have much of an appetite, but after three days of the antibiotics he was back to his usual self. We had to stay in on Halloween and he had to miss his class party at daycare. What a bummer!

Happy Birthday Ryan

We were happy to celebrate Ryan's third birthday. I still an amazed how well these three played together. Even taking turns with the piñata.

Watch out Ryan, Iggy's already moved in on Eloise.

Morton Arboretum

For her birthday Maeve was given a membership to the Morton Arboretum. Such a great present.
Maeve did not like being in the dog house, you think?

Maeve, according to Iggy

Whenever we read this book to Iggy, he always says "Maeve" when we get to this picture. So cute.

Iggy's chores

When bath time is over Ignatius has to put his toys away. We came in to find how organized he was in his arrangement.

What a fish

Happy Birthday Sweet Bea

And here I thought Maeve had the best reaction to people singing Happy Birthday. Bea definitely has her beat.

Ignatius loves Bea so much, when we showed him this picture he said "move Leo"

He most certainly cleans up well

Sibling love

I never doubted that they would love each other, but it is truly better than I could have ever imagined. They are truly best friends.

Mr. Muscles

Please excuse Maeve's crying in the background

Goebbert's Pumpkin Farm

We took a trip out to South Barrington to Goebbert's Pumpkin Farm. The last time I was there was when I was a little girl.

They let the kids feed the giraffes.

The pumpkin eating dinosaur!

Ignatius was chanting "crush it"

Maeve didn't know what to make of all the animals

Llama llama

Truly amazing with how many animals they had. It was better than Brookfield's petting zoo. Definitely would go back next year.

Our family of four

We finally, kind of, got a family photo. The deer-in-headlights look will have to do for now.

Picture perfect fall day

What happened to my baby and who is this four year old?

I can't stop laughing at Maeve's face in this picture.
